Tamil Nadu tourism comes first in number of festivals listed on Union ministry portal
Nadu tourismhas been ranked number one in terms of the number of events that were listed so far on the Union ministry of tourism’s website, Utsav – India a Land of Festivals.
The state listed 107 festivals or tourism events on the site followed by 88 by Gujarat and 37 by Karnataka. TN updated 14 live darshans so far.
The portal lists events and festivals of the country.
The tourism department had listed events ranging from the famous jallikattu inMaduraitoMamallapuramdance festival and several lesser known events and temple festivals.
